Privacy Policy
You trust Reclaim with the details of a financial complaint, so here is exactly what we collect, who handles it, how long we keep it and what you can demand back. No filler.
Who controls your data
The data controller is Corey Musa, operating as Rugby Unlocked, in the United Kingdom. For any privacy request, use the contact form or email hello@recla.im.
What we collect
- Your email address, to save your cases and apply your plan.
- The situation text you submit and the case the AI generates from it.
- Billing details, handled and stored by Stripe. We never see your card number.
- Basic usage and anti-abuse data: pages viewed, the rough action counts and IP address used only to rate-limit and prevent abuse.
Why we are allowed to (lawful basis)
Under UK GDPR we rely on: performance of a contract to generate your case, save it and run your subscription; and our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure, preventing abuse and understanding aggregate usage. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models.
Who processes it (subprocessors)
- Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
- Vercel AI Gateway, routing to Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) — your situation text is sent to the AI provider solely to generate your result. Providers process it to return the output and do not use it to train their models.
- Railway — the database that stores your account and cases.
- Resend — sends your sign-in and notification emails.
- Stripe — processes payments and stores billing details.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the US. Where they do, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the UK extension to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Your account and cases are kept while your account is active, so you can come back to them, and are deleted on request. Anti-abuse logs are pruned within a few days. Stripe keeps billing records for as long as the law requires it to.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one to remember your language. Our analytics are cookieless. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to restrict or object to how we use it. Use the contact form or email hello@recla.im and we will action it. We made it easy to reclaim your data too. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
